why do i need a 200 hour yoga teacher training cert?
This program is only four days long and teaches you the specifics of Rage Yoga. In order for us to do this, you will need to have a pre-existing foundational understanding of yoga and teaching yoga
Who can take this training?
The Badass Instructor Program is for anyone who is interested in immersing themselves in the Rage Yoga world and strengthening their skills as a teacher.
Anyone can take this program but you do need to have a pre-existing 200HR certification program under your belt to get fully certified.
what does the schedule look like?
The training will run over 4 days with a total of 24 hours of training (6 hours a day.) The exact schedule will be announced closer to the training dates.
how much does it cost?
The programs are $499.00 USD. Wanna pay upfront? Cool! Want to make a payment plan? Also cool! A deposit will hold your spot. One of our team members will work with you to create a payment plan that suits your needs for the remaining amount.
how do i get certified?
At the end of the Badass Instructor Program you can choose to test for certification. You will be required to submit proof of a pre-existing 200 hour yoga teacher training certification. The test is simple! You’ll teach a Rage Yoga session, submit a recording and then schedule a zoom call to get feedback on your work.
can i fail the test?
Yes. It’s unlikely but it’s possible. If someone has gone through the program and chooses to test then they’ve probably done the work to cultivate the skills and qualities we look for in our instructors. But if someone does not have a grasp on our practices or approach then we do not want to have them certified to teach it. It wouldn't be fair to them, or us, or to their students. If the test in failed then it can be retaken again in 3 months.
What do you GET from this training?
You will learn all about Rage Yoga’s practices, philosophies. and teaching techniques. We care about developing badass instructors and we’ll make sure you leave equipped with the tools you need to confidently start a kickass practice.
What happens if i get certified?
You will become a Certified Badass Rage Yoga Instructor! You will receive a certificate and be listed as an official teacher on our website and be allowed to use Rage Yoga’s logo and information to promote your own classes. You will also potentially have future paid opportunities to work with us on workshops, trainings, retreats, or video platforms.
