Live Classes - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take debit?
A: You can pay either by cash or credit at the pub. Alternatively you can pay by card by preregistering for your class!
Q: Will there be adjustments?
A: No one will be coming around to do adjustments during class. You're more than welcome to ask before, during or after class for more direction. We love to help!
Q: Do I need to bring a mat?
A: If you don't have a mat, or if you forgot, we have a limited number for rentfor the class at $2.
Q: Are the classes beginner friendly?
A: Our classes range in difficulty from beginner to intermediate. We offer a a couple of different classes so feel free to check out our schedule to find out which class is right for you!
Q: Do I need to sign up ahead of time?
A: No need. However, our classes can get pretty busy so the best way to make sure you grab a spot is by preregistering.
Q: What's the environment like?
A: Let's be honest guys... It's a basement pub. It's awesome but it's not glamorous. We put up curtains to divide the back room off from the main area and during class time there are very few other patrons in the bar.
Q: What will I get out of the class?
A: Afterwards you should feel great! You might be a little stiff the next day if you're not accustomed to yoga. Don't panic! Hydrate and partake in some TLC.
Yoga is an incredibly personal experience and it gives many different benefits to different people. Increased mobility, decreased pain, reduced anxiety, improved mood... the possibilities are endless if you are willing to put in the work and find a class that best suits your needs.
Q: What should I expect in the class?
A: The class style is built off of Vinyasa yoga, done at a slower pace. We begin and end with a calming moment. The core of the sequence is centered around poses and exercises to gain strength, flexibility and a better mind-body connection.
You should expect there to be foul language, laughter and shenanigans. If these offend you, Rage Yoga is not for you.
You will also receive two tickets, each good for a $4 pint of Dickens draft. You can choose to buy a pint before class, after class or not at all. I'm not your mom.
